Our Company

Open Arms Health is a family owned agency.  Our minimal overhead makes us more cost effective for you. Open Arms is fully licensed, registered and insured in the State of New Jersey.   We are committed to meeting the needs of our clients, and dedicated to ensuring an adequate supply of highly skilled caregivers.  We are constantly looking for new ways to deliver services in response to current and future demands for cost effective quality care.

Our "Hands On" Policy

Open Arms evaluates a client's needs through discussions and meetings with you and your family members.   We assess both the client's level of care needed and their personality.  This allows us to develop an individualized plan to meet those needs and make the appropriate choice of  a caregiver.  Since the caregiver is our employee, we relieve you of the added anxiety of background checks and all the other details involved with hiring and paying an employee.

Once a caregiver has been placed, we will maintain close contact to ensure your family's peace of mind and well being.  In addition, we communicate regularly with our employees to maintain the highest level of care.

Our Caregivers

Open Arms caregivers have been personally interviewed by our management, have been submitted to a background check  and are bonded and insured.  We verify that each of our employees' state licenses are in good standing.  We offer Non-Medical Home Care Aides, Certified Home Home Health Care Aides and supervising nurses.

Open Arms feels that the needs of our caregivers are important, too, which enables us to retain skilled, caring  individuals with a deep personal commiment to helping others.

Open Arms Day Club

Our Adult Day Club is a quality alternative to assisted-living communities or nursing home care.  Our goal is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by offering a quality day program to the elderly.  Open Arms Day Club offers a highratio of Assistants to Clients in a home-like environment with structured programs to promote cognitive and physical stimulation.  We can provide you with hours of care, and your loved one can enjoy companionship, socialization and physical exercise.

What sets us apart?

We are a Day Club, not a Day Care.  To call ourselves a daycare only takes away the dignity of the folks who visit withus every day.  To be part of something, to have friends call your name when you arrive and know you belong, that's a Club!

Club members will have their picture in a frame on the fireplace mantel.  Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served,
and there is a monthly Friday Fun Night and a monthly Saturday Get-Away.  Beautician services will be available.  
Along with lots of enjoyable activities and games, we offer Pet Therapy and much more.

We provide respite care from 7:45am to 6:00pm, with Full and Part-time care available.  Extended Care is also
available.   There is nursing supervision and medication disbursement in a safe, supervised environment that allows
us to closely monitor your loved ones.  Open Arms believes in involving family members, and continuously communicates
any changes in or concerns about your loved one's health or well-being.
